Kid’s Say the Darnedest Things

I am loving my two year old’s  ever expanding ability to communicate with us.  A few days ago he had gone up to his grandma’s room one morning to talk with her.  She came down laughing. They had just had the following conversation.

G looking out the window: “House hot.”

Grandma: “Are you too hot?”

G: “No, house hot.”

Grandma: “Is our house hot?”

G (Pointing out the window): “NO, HOUSE HOT.”

Grandma (finally looks out the window and sees smoke coming out of a chimney): “Oh is that house hot.”

G: “Yes house hot.”

Yep my kid knows that smoke and steam mean things are hot 🙂
